EDUCATION
Working towards a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, currently 3.67 GPA. Dean’s List of Engineering: Spring Quarter 2018, Fall Quarter 2018, Spring Quarter 2019, Fall Quarter 2019 Relevant Coursework- Electronics Manufacturing, Python Programming, Digital Design (VHDL, Verilog), Computer Assembly/Design Language, Materials Engineering, Semiconductor Devices, Control Systems, Communication Systems, Digital/Analog Elec. and ICs., Microcontroller-Based Systems Design, Electromagnetic Fields/Waves and Transmission, Electronic Design EXPERIENCE/SKILLS
Internship at SemTech
Over the summer of 2019, I worked as the Failure Analysis Engineering Intern at SemTech in Camarillo, CA, who is a leading supplier in semiconductors. I gained experience in failure analysis, circuitry analysis, x-ray operation, curve tracing, chemical/plasma etching, PEM, SEM, and FIB work.
Designed, constructed, and tested a solar-powered battery charging circuit. Programming
Using VHDL and Verilog, I programmed an 8-bit MCU from scratch and coded a music box using my MCU’s own assembly language.
Using a MSP432, I built and programmed my own function generator and digital multimeter. Through this I have gained experience using various communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART.
Constructed a robot with a small team of students and programmed it using Arduino to complete certain autonomous tasks. I also programmed and built my own version of the PONG game with Arduino. Summer Undergraduate Research Program
Over the summer of 2020, I worked on the “Optimization of Backtracking Parameters” project for the Cal Poly Goldtree Solar Farm. Throughout my project, I collected and analyzed data to optimize backtracking parameters in order to increase the daily plant energy obtained by the solar panel farm. Leadership and Community Service
Hundreds of hours of community service along with my Eagle Scout project. In my project, I headed a team to lay two foundations and build retaining walls for a local church.
