Description

The project involves the testing of 5G NR in live network based on customer specifications. Testing of this project involves, Joint testing BW Qcomm(SDX60/SDX50/X55/X60 NR) the complete system functionalities like System determination, Registration, Call processing, Handoff, roaming, LBS LTE, Band conformance and features such as Voice service conformance, SMS, MMS, concurrent services etc., and also analyzing L1,L2 and Sanjole logs.

Role & Contribution

Responsibilities:

Design, Development and IODT testing of Radio access network technology on Nokia NR/5G network.

IODT Team lead for OTA (5G) technology within the systems verification NRT/FIT team.

Test cases planning including reviews/analysis of feature specifications

Test specification work including creating/updating/reviewing test documents (i.e. test plans, test cases, test reports, feature specification, instructions, etc)

Perform inter-operability testing with OEM/Chipset vendors in Nokia lab and if needed in the customer lab

Install, commission, and integrate 5G gNB and 4G eNB in test environment

Description

The project involves the Carrier Certification testing of modem chipsets globally in live networks based on customer specifications (Verizon, AT&T, TMO & Sprint, Apple IWatch). As an important part of the product life cycle, the test team is focused on both controlled & live networks. As a member of the Modem System Test group, responsible for certification execution on the latest test devices and software, troubleshooting issues found, collecting Key Performance Indicators.
