#1 Design and Fabrication of Cross Flow Heat Exchanger with Circular Fins

Project Duration: JAN 2017-APR 2017

Project Description: Determination of heat transfer and effectiveness of heat exchangers, particularly finned tube liquid-

air heat exchangers are of practical importance in improving the performance of refrigeration plants and automobile

radiators. In this study the well- known NTU method is used to calculate the heat transfer (Q) of the cross-flow heat

exchanger.

Industrial Training

Completed a 5-day in-plant training at Global Automotive Research center and learned about automobile

vehicles parts testing methods

Successfully completed a 5 day In-Plant Training at Chennai Petroleum Corporation Limited and gained

knowledge on the process of extraction of gasoline, Diesel, ATF from crude oil

Working as an Junior Engineer in Ashok Leyland Technical center, Vellivoyalchavadi under Hinduja Tech Limited for

1year and 4months

Worked Department: Vehicle Evaluation and Testing (VET). My role is a Vehicle Testing Engineer.
