Mechanical and dynamic aspects were accomplished using the same software. Effect of lamina orientation on Honeycomb and Normal core was observed through simulation. A broad comparison was achieved between normal and honeycomb core composites.

Dry Machining using Solid Lubricant (Sep 2019 - Feb 2020) Team Size: 6

Brief Description: To eliminate hazardous cutting fluids during machining, researchers tried machining using solid or fluid lubricants. Group chose a triangular insert and drilled micro holes on edges and surfaces. MoS2 was filled to lubricate the surfaces while using this tool for machining. Results could explain why dry machining is advantageous over normal machining.

Individual Role:

Responsible for operating CNC using G-codes and collecting data and plotted graphs using MATLAB

Design of Box Transport Mechanism (Aug-Dec 2019)

Brief Description: Designed a mechanism for small scale industries that could be used to transport less weighing parts from one place to another. One could even customize it according to their size of transporting items. This process was effective in terms of time and money. Individual Role:

Brief Description: Created a blend of Ethanol and turpentine oil in different ratios and experimentally analyzed the emissions. As a result to find the best alternate characteristics graph between emissions and varying load using different blends with different ratios of gasoline, turpentine and ethanol. Individual Role:
