Ford Motor Company, Dearborn, MI January – December 2020 Climate Calibration Engineer

• Worked on the Apollo project in the Covid-19 cabin sanitization group. o Analyzed Covid-19 and inside temperature data and reviewed power train and HVAC module parameters provided from testing facilities.

o Studied sanitization capabilities of different vehicles and configured which sensors can be used to give accurate results with varying temperature patterns. o Tested the new sanitization procedure on 2020 police vehicles and verified if the test gave high enough temperatures on all surfaces in a reasonable amount of time with variable test conditions.

• Compared all new vehicle power train control module calibrations to ensure proper climate operation.

• Answered questions and upheld new requirements for stop/start and AC compressor operation.

• Investigated heat pickup issues for certain HVAC cases in different vehicles.

• Helped study compressor performance issues that were being found on connected vehicles.
