Chief Operating Officer / TAFCO Corporation, Melrose Park, IL Day-to-day operational management of a $60M vertically integrated, multinational manufacturing company with three distribution facilities in the US and a wholly owned joint venture (JV) factory complex in China. Responsible for production, inventory forecasting & planning for our major in-line program customers: Menards, Lowe’s and Home Depot as well as e-Commerce platforms: Amazon & Walmart. Oversee supply chain of 1,000 shipping container movements on an annual basis. Key Achievements
● Manage the day-to-day operations of the business scaling business units to achieve top line revenue growth from $13M in 2013 to $60M+ in 2020.
● Responsible for new products launches and direct to consumer channels with in-line trading partners including Lowes, Home Depot & Menards. Also direct our e- commerce strategy with Amazon, Walmart, Wayfair, Houzz & Home Depot.
● Production, inventory forecasting & planning for our major in-line and e-Commerce program customers and accountability for merchandising and distribution initiatives of our existing products across all product categories
● Doubled capacity in the US and in China from 2013 to 2020. Oversight for three distribution facilities in the US (200 sq. ft.) and a wholly owned joint venture (JV) factory complex (450 sq. ft.) in China. Total sq. ft. 650K+ in factory & warehousing and 400+ in total worldwide headcount.
● Manage an international supply chain growing worldwide shipping container movements from 200 containers in 2013 to 1,000 in 2020.
