I manage and lead the safe and efficient operation on the entire Atlanta zone, which includes Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee. It is my duty to oversee the entire operation which includes supply chain, transportation logistics, employee accountability, mechanical operation, budget implementation and execution, engineering, planning, customer support and satisfaction, development of staff, union agreement fulfillment and adherence, all while assuring continued process improvements In every department. Develop processes, assure those are adhered to and adapt them as situations develop. It is my responsibility to evaluate and institute best practices for all matters relevant to the operations. I Assure accountability and follow up on all instances that may hinder or negatively affect the operation. Push sustainable change while holding customer satisfaction amongst the top core values. It is the role of the Transportation Superintendent to oversee the entire operation that supports the transportation department as well as the transportation team.

To oversee the entire railroad operation from superior Wisconsin to Rainier Minnesota. In addition to main line and yard work, I monitored the production at the mines of US Steel, United taconite and Minorca. It was also my responsibility to insure customers were serviced and interchange was completed. I was in charge of the entire north end supply chain. The largest most impactful duty was to ensure the safe operation of all railroad related responsibilities in my territory.
