• Created a web scraper using python to extract header, p-tags and descriptive information from each website on a google-search result page.

• Generated a data frame that contained URLs from industry-specific google searches, their corresponding meta tags and most frequently occurring words and phrases. This data frame was used to improve SEO and keyword optimization for clients. Conversational AI – Chatbot (Tools used: RASA NLU and Core, RASA X, Python, spaCy, TensorFlow)

• Developing a chatbot using RASA to handle in-house queries by creating customer stories and to store user passed input.

• Used RASA NLU for intent classification, entity recognition and form integration.

Data Research Assistant July 2020 – December 2020

• Applied sentiment analysis to raw speech and speech-to-text data retrieved from multiple focus group dialogues with over 450 participants about their detailed opinions on DePaul’s Mission Statement.

• The goal was to discover trends, patterns and provide unique insights to the university’s Board of Trustees for creating a new mission statement, based on the sentiment analysis results. (Tools used: Python NLTK, Excel, MATLAB, Tableau, Qualtrics)

• Used NLP visualization tools such as word clouds, density plots to communicate insights. Analyst August 2019 – June 2020

• Designed a tableau dashboard that visualized and analyzed the budgets and revenue reports of DePaul’s Corporate Outreach program. (Tools used: Tableau, Excel)

• Executed database management of faculty contracts and profiles. Compiled and formatted monthly financial reports and provided general analytical support on area specific analyses. Projects

Advanced Data Analysis and Classification Project

• Performed data cleaning, data processing, Linear Discriminant Analysis, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Random Forest Classification, Logistic Regression to predict customer churn rate of a telecommunications company.

• Executed these algorithms in R language and obtained a 93% accuracy of the model. Data Visualization Project

• Visualized a dataset with prices of commodities to check for price volatility around times of war and international crises using horizon plots, radial charts, overlapping density plots, heat maps, cluster maps, corr plots, geo density plots. Tableau, and R packages like ggplot, ggplotly and R color brewer used for the plots. Data Time series analysis and Prediction

• Analyzed a time series dataset of ComEd electricity consumption. Predicted future two-year consumption trends using statistical techniques like ARIMA, SARIMA, ARMA, and then visualized the prediction curves.

• Applied Residual Analysis, normality tests, ACF, PACF analysis, trend and seasonality models, forecasting and back testing, to arrive at the final model with RMSE of 318.7.

Data mining and Classification Project

• Mined and cleaned a weather dataset with 6M observations to arrive at a final 200K observations. Analyzed this data using Decision Tree and K-means clustering to arrive at 78% accuracy and 64% precision.

• As the President of the DePaul Indian Students Association, planned networking and orientation events, career panel events.

• Three-time ThinkChicago participant - was selected among the top 200 students across the US. Competed in a civic tech challenge for Mayor Lori Lightfoot, to come up with a technological solution to tackle space-making and food inequality.
