As a member of the Brinks Organizations Nation Wide Lean Team I assisted and led in the nationwide development, implementation and deployment of Lean Strategic Initiatives and Lean Training Programs through Project Management, hands on activities and virtual connectivity. In addition, my work included coaching, teaching and mentoring individuals and teams through lean methods and practices such as Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, 5S Implementation, Standard Work Development and the use of various Lean Tools.
Conduct Lean Training (Learn/Do) with practical application on the Gemba (where the work is conducted), Lean Assessment/ Certifications, on site lean training sessions and companywide virtual lean training via Webex .
Created, developed and administered Basic and Advanced Lean Leader Certification Program with over 200 participants consisting of Mid-Level Managers and Senior Executives in order to build company bench strength with the goal of having lean knowledge and “know how” reside at the local level for maximum impact where the work is actually done.
Strategic Executive level supported both short- & long-term company goals – included monthly, tracking and reporting of lean metrics at a company level in relation to continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen Activity, Lean Leader Program participation and progress.
National and Regional Support traveled throughout the country to deliver “hands-on” lean support to branches and departments that were leadership identified through data driven analysis of KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators) highlighting what were called “Hot-Spots”.
