EFFECTS OF AUTO GAS SUPPLEMENTATION ON THE PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF A GDI ENGINE.

Description:

The aim of gasoline direct engine is to reduce fuel consumption while meeting the requirements of stringent emission regulations and the good drive performance. Gasoline direct injection (GDI) technology proved to be a valuable solution to the aim because the GDI engine adopts lean burnt system and has pump losses at part loads. GDI engines are operating under high temperature hence fouling of spark plug can cause misfiring followed by carbon deposits in the vicinity of spark plug. ACHIEVEMENTS:
