Project Details

Project Title – Design and analysis of two wheeler alloy wheel using composite materials. Synopsis

This project is to design and analysis of two wheeler alloy wheels by using different materials like Aluminium, magnesium and some composite materials. The best material for the alloy wheel can be found out by designing it in Creo, analysed using Ansys, Creo Simulation and then it can be compared .

Responsibilities

A group of best composite materials have been choosed.

The properties of choosen materials have to be studied

A two wheeler alloy with required specific dimensions is to be drawn using CREO tool.

Individually the choosen material properties are to be applied on the wheel diagram using Ansys tool.

Then comparison have been made with selected composite material.

The best material is choosen and applied on the wheel and the prototype was made. CAD tools: Creo, Ansyss
