Currently, I’m seeking Help Desk position based on my combined work experience, training, and education. As a candidate for this position, I have identified that my previous work experience and knowledge of the criminal justice system, work ethics, and dedication of service to the general public will align with the core values of your organization. I’m an IT professional, transitioning from law enforcement into IT and computer technology.
During my years of law enforcement, I have developed excellent communication skills for providing conflict resolution and utilizing critical thinking skills to resolve complex issues. I have developed skills specific to prioritize tasks, analyze situational events and troubleshoot problems using prior training and knowledge of department/facility policy and procedure, and providing quality customer service to the general public. Daily I practice communicating effectively as a team player and I’m capable of completing tasks both in a group setting and independently. Furthermore, I have developed expert training in compiling detailed reports of evidence and documenting incidents and findings to be used in both criminal and facility reports and/or investigations. Currently, I have an Active Security Clearance from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
