This application automated the collateral evaluation process and streamlined collateral monitoring. It took care of 1) charging optimal collateral amount for Marginal Trading of Equities and Fixed Income products (Treasuries, Corporate Bonds and Agency Debt) and 2) evaluating the market value/returns of pledged collaterals for repo transactions. The application had two additional modules - the Collateral Monitoring module which used market data to monitor credit risk exposure in portfolios and the Client Management module that was used to set up accounts and manage margin calls.
