Method to adapt trigger wheel irregularities in ECU: Since tooth information from the trigger wheel acts as a primary input for all angle based event calculation, an error in the tooth dimension could lead to miscalculation. This method enables the ECU to adapt to the error and provide correction to the calculation respectively. Professional Experience
Working as Powertrain Calibration Engineer in Robert Bosch Engineering & Business Solutions Private limited since JAN 2017 (till present)
- Responsible for EPM and drivability calibration for single cylinder and multi- cylinder 2Wheeler application.
- Development and validation of BSVI software platform
- Addressing and resolving customer & field issues. Project Activities:
Calibration of engine control units in development and series projects at customer location & on-field.
Engine calibration include Air charge determination, Ignition angle calibration and torque model calibration.
Calibration of drivability and idle speed related functions on test track and during summer, winter and altitude trips. Functionality includes torque loss adaptation, torque filtering, anti-jerk functionality, external torque intervention, driver demand pedal map, maximum vehicle speed limitation, maximum engine speed limitation, fuel cut-in/off functions.
Optimization and new function development of gasoline engine functions and controls for better emissions, performance and fuel consumption.
Calibration of Engine position management functions including synchronization of engine, plausibility check of the trigger wheel, reverse rotation detection and prediction.
Performed Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) for vehicle functions of BSVI software.
Technical support and coaching for entry level engineers and internship candidates.
Dataset management in vCDM and iCDM.
