This application was an inventory management application that tracks inventory movement and procurement operations across divisions. Utilized JUnit test cases to test Spring services and DAO implementation layers. Code control was performed using subversion and continuous integration was done using cruise control. Help design Axis 2 web services that delivered both restricted and non-restricted data to DOD clients. Hibernate was used to aid in managing data in the DAO layer to serve primarily Adobe Flex clients and web service consumers. Spring Cache and OSCache API were used to cache data requests in order to improve application response and to minimize server demands. Both SOAP and REST Services were implemented on the Axis 2 web service engine. Assisted in writing multiple web service clients to process SOAP. This project employed extensive use of JUnit Test Cases (JUnit 4) and test first principals. Application code was refactored to eliminate duplicate code using both OOP and AOP principals.
