EXPERIENCE

Zone Leader- Customer Service, Panera Bread Inc Jan 2019 - Mar 2020

•Planned workstation process flow, maintained daily inventory records by following 5S principle.

•Enhanced customer service by interacting with 350+ customers a day and boosting it up to 97%.

•Trained and supervised new employees by educating them about food handling and safety procedure.

Graduate Research Assistant, University of Texas at Arlington Sep 2018 - May 2019

•Performed tissue analysis of pig aortas (adult/fetal) and pulmonary arteries using biaxial and uniaxial mechanical testing with the aim of determining its mechanical strength while following GLP.

•Executed various tasks pertaining to the acquisition of data using Image J, MATLAB, and Microsoft Excel.

•Generated and presented comprehensive reports outlining results obtained after performing stress, preconditioning, compression, creep, strain, shear stress, and failure assessments

Biomedical Engineer Intern, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Center Dec 2017 - Jan 2018

•Provided maintenance to medical instruments like CT, MRI machine as well as non-clinical instruments used in the hospital.

•Assisted in installation of various medical devices and learned the standard quality control protocols.

PROJECTS

Implantable cell-scaffold for Achilles Tendon rupture and repair Feb 2020 - May 2020

•Led a group of three to propose and design a prototype with the help of SOLIDWORKS a bi-layered implantable cell-scaffold using Silk fibroin and collagen.

•Seeded the scaffold with stem cells such as hESCs, MSCs, bFGF, HGF and TGF- to mimic the tissue and incorporate self-regeneration technique at the injury site of the Achilles Tendon achieving 90% full functionality.

Designing of artificial Esophagus scaffold, Aug 2019 - Dec 2019

•Led a group of three to design a scaffold using SOLIDWORKS to replace esophageal tissue damaged by adenocarcinoma by seeding it with human Mesenchymal stem cells and Poly(Acrylic Acid)-Poly(Ethylene Glycol) (PAA-PEG) as the material.

Physiological Response to Spicy food using BIOPAC system Jan 2019 - May 2019

•Collected EEG data of 15 test subject before and after consumption of spicy food to check the variation in the frequency and amplitude in the Electrogastrograph, while EDA and skin temperature were recorded to measure sweat response to monitor change in the body’s sweat production using BIOPAC system.

•Acquired data was analyzed using MATLAB to find correlation between the three factors.

Designing a nerve conduit for rats’ sciatic nerve Aug 2018 - Dec 2018

•Worked in a group of four to design a nerve conduit using SOLIDWORKS for the sciatic nerve of a rat which was sutured between the 15 mm gap that helped in regeneration of axons and migration of SCs.

•3D printed bi-layered conduit was successfully used to bridge a critical nerve gap and was able to exhibit full recovery.

Tissue Culture of cortical tissues Aug 2018 - Dec 2018

•Immunostaining the sliced cortical brain tissues to observe astrocytes cultured from embryonic rat’s (E18) on PDMS device.

Prototyping the Kinematics of Joint Movements using motion sensors Aug 2017 - May 2018

•Designed a PCB layout using EAGLE software and analyzed the difference in the Gait Pattern in MATLAB from the data collected of 20 subjects using IMU MPU-6050 sensors and Arduino to evaluate the walking performance of patients with neurological disease.
