Project Description:

SupplyPike is a fast-growing, well-funded startup with a big mission: building the platform for collaborative supply chain. I am the part of Integration space where we Integrate and build end to end EDI solutions for manufactures. Retailers and logistics companies.

Responsibilities:

•Captured new requirements from customers and converted into EDI technical components.

•Created new translation process and maps for common Inbound and Outbound documents.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Wal-Mart is the major retailer in the world and complex EDI environment has been build up to support multiple applications. I worked on different programs like WEBEDI Rearchitecture, Annual Enrolment, McLane ASN Flow, Sam’s Liquor, Transportation and many other Projects

The WebEDI system is an online EDI system to manage the Purchase Order, Invoice for Wal-Mart vendors. Vendors share the PO’s through a standardized document called EDI. This is an international standard followed to exchange data between the external party and the retailer. Each country has its own standard name and versions. Wal-Mart works along countries like United States, Mexico, Canada, China and Japan. Transactions: 850, 810, 864 and 997

In the Annual Enrolment 2014 project, we worked on 834 transaction and handled multiple HIPAA vendors. Here Inbound and Outbound flows have been designed between Wal-Mart and HIPAA vendors and communication part has been handled with AS2 protocol.

Coming to McLane project, currently Advance Shipment Notification document (856) is handling manually. We have enabled the 856 EDI flow and developed the Map as per the defined implementation guide and setup the end to end flow to handle these 856 documents electronically.

Due to various regulations, Alcohol suppliers must be paid within a certain time frame that Wal-Mart cannot meet at the corporate level. We are handling Invoices with the third-party system Fintech for alcohol suppliers. We enabled claims (812), Text message (864) for alcohol suppliers and established two different flows for Sam’s and Wal-Mart separately.

Transportation (Global Transportation Project – GTS) involves the upgrade of existing maps from flat file format to XML to enhance and improve the application performance. Here all the existing flat file to EDI maps will be replaced by XML to EDI and vice versa.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Created new translation maps in positional format, XML, X12, EDIFACT for both Inbound and Outbound flows in the Wal-Mart EDI environment.

•Created database maps to insert/update the multiple records into database.

•Created new BP’s for new WEBEDI Outbound 850, 864, Inbound 810 and tested the end to end flow in SI 5.2.

•Given the estimates for EDI work [mapping tasks, setting up the complete end to end flow and BP creation/changes] for multiple EDI collaboration projects.

Project Description A major grocery chain has undertaken a transformation initiative to replace several legacy retail applications with several modules of Oracle Retail. These modules include RPM, ReSA, RMS, ReIM, Foundation data, and RDW. Oracle Retail suite of applications will help the retailer overcome challenges they have with the existing system. Wipro has been selected to migrate the legacy application with several ORACLE Retail Modules.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Coordinate with functional team and prepared technical chapters for different Oracle streams Foundation Data, Price and Promo, Finance and Replenishment.

•Involved in requirement gathering phase and captured the EDI requirements for Invoice, Purchase Orders, Advance Shipment Notifications (ASN’’s), Product Activity Report, Invoice adjustments and Cost Changes transactions

•Given the estimates for Integration (Tibco/EDI) work and defined the standard time for mapping, coding, deployment and SIT activities.

Cardinal Health – Pharmaceutical Distribution (PD) IT employs GXS gateway as the messaging gateway for managing its EDI document exchange, with 3500+ Customers. Accurate and timely, reporting and exchange of EDI business documents with its Customers is crucial for Cardinal Health’s PD IT Group’s success. The EDI Infrastructure at Cardinal integrates the AS400 based distrack – Order Management System with the Customer’s Order Management Infrastructure via EDI document exchange automation. This integration of Cardinal’s IT Information Systems with Customer’s Information Systems using EDI is critical for Cardinal’s PD Group to gain the benefits of Supply Chain Integration and Collaborative Commerce Inbound Documents: 850, 180, 997 Outbound Documents: 810, 832, 855, 856, 997, and 858.

ETFS Financial Group and its subsidiary Global Excel Management Inc., GEM, is one of Canada's leading health services companies. Before the development of this project, claims were entered manually into CAI for processing. The routing of the paper claims from Payers to other PPO's for re-pricing was done manually. The project was conceived as an EAI driven project to leverage the existing system. The Gentran Integration Suite from Sterling commerce was chosen as EAI hub. All clients and Payers now will be sending claims in either X12 HIPAA compliant or custom formatted EDI. These claims are validated saved into the database and transformed into a format accepted by the existing claim processing systems. The processed claims are then retrieved by the Hub from the existing systems and transmitted back to the Clients/ Payers / PPO's in the respective EDI formats

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Developed Maps, which translate HIPAA compliant Professional and Institutional data from EDI ANSI X12 data format to XML data format and XML data format to EDI ANSI X12 data format

•Also developed maps, which translate Custom formatted EDI files to XML for storing in e-Repricing database and XML to Custom Formatted EDI file using GIS Sterling Integrator Map Editor.

•Creating Business Processes and archiving it based on the Design Document.
