Mellany Morkel, has been working with us at Sebokeng hospital Pharmacy since January 2020 as a Community Service Pharmacist. Our CSP’s and Interns rotate to different departments during their worktime here and they get to work with different supervisors, staff and perform different work tasks, so that they can acquire a broad experience. Since she started here, Mellany presented herself with a disciplined character and a positive attitude. She is open for guidance and critics and has got a willingness to better herself and grow.
She showed great leadership skills, as she can take control of a situation. She stays calm and focused under pressure and encourage those around her to focus on the task on hand. Mellany can come across as an introvert, but is a great team player and can show sympathy and empathy towards staff and patients.
