• Assisted in the preparation of documents such as research papers, discussion papers by proofreading and collating information for statistical analysis.
• Responsible for updating and maintaining project pages on pu.babcock.ng website which previously had been mostly out of date.
• Maintained and updated filling system for all incoming data and prepare database for all researchers’ staff and students.
• Successfully facilitated all department meetings with staff, students ensuring conducive environment by providing meeting structure and ensuring that agendas were communicated prior to the meetings with any supporting information.
Accomplishments
• Created a system where at the beginning of the week the relevant department heads and students would be emailed with a mid-week deadline for information or papers to be sent, at the end of the week the website would be updated. This worked well because it became a routine and kept the webpage at the forefront of everyone’s mind. Students and staff also benefited as they could be confident that the information was up to date. By the time I graduated the project page was completely reliable. My work was recognized by the University and was one of the reasons I received the faculty recognition award in 2017.
• Efficiency increased significantly the supporting documents for meetings that used to go over time before all the items on the agenda were discussed, started running on time, all agenda items were covered and in follow-up meetings points raised had been actioned. 2013-2014 Kings International College, Library Prefect
