UNDERGRADUATE PROJECT Nov 2018 – Apr 2019

Mechanical characteristics of multiwalled carbon nanotubes particulate jute fiber reinforced polymer composites

• The high mechanical, electrical and thermal properties of MWCNT aroused the interest and promoted the research into fabrication of nanotube composite material.

• The composite material was fabricated by hand layup method, where the mold surface is treated with an antiadhesive, then the resin is mixed with jute Fiber and MWCNT, uniformly spread and removed after curing at room temperature.

• The fabricated composite material was tested for tensile, flexural, impact, hardness and water absorption to show the significant improvement in the mechanical properties COURSE PROJECTS

Design and Fabrication of Scotch Yoke Mechanism Nov 2017-Mar 2018

• This mechanism is mainly used in various high-pressure valves and internal combustion engines helping in preventing the lateral force created on the piston.

• Designed Scotch Yoke Mechanism using AutoCAD and fabricated model using cast iron frame and mild steel linkage

• Welded joints using Gas Arc welding and performed milling operation on the plate using horizontal milling machine WORKSHOPS and COURSES:
