PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Business Objects Reporting Lead/BI Analyst (Consultant) – BP, Houston, TX Aug 2014 to Present

Accomplished standardizing business objects reports for base management, operations, and finance departments across all regions at BP leading to reduced development/maintenance costs. The standard reports became a major part of new deployments for Energy Components to new regions at BP. Standardized 54 reports across Production/Sales/Transport business functions from 493 reports which helped tremendously reduce the duplication and redundancy of reports across regions.

Configured various business functions within hydrocarbon management tool for production, sales, contracts, wells, allocation networks, assets, well and stream data.

Consolidate, automate, and eliminate manual processes by utilizing the product functions within energy components. The manual excel/text data-files were extracted by mapping data and loading into energy components. This reduced business workload and expedited their daily and monthly allocation process eradicating manual errors.

Contributed to configuration of calculation rules for allocation of products from well completion through the gathering system to all disposition points within Energy Components for various regions.

Collaborated in upgrading and migrating data from energy components version 10.4 to 11.1 for all regions across BP. This tremendously involved source to target testing, data clean-up processes, data refresh and standardize the business process across regions.

Created scripts/procedures to archive data that was inactive for longterm storage based on user approval.

Participated in Energy Component installations for pilots on development environment for various regions.

Adapted Azure DevOps utilizing agile scrum as a facilitator (scrum master) to navigate projects/tasks.

Analyze and enhance existing universes as technical designer using Energy Components data.

Created/automated complex corporate reports in Business Objects to be sent to partners/government which earlier were manually maintained and published.

Gather, design, and validate requirements from business users to transform manually maintained process/excel spreadsheets to be consumed by energy components and relayed into business objects reports.

Designed and developed adhoc universes for various functions within Energy Component application for business users. Created business objects training documents for various business groups.
