2.Castleton Industries in Saltcoats, SK. May/19- Sept/19 WELDER

Responsible to weld and build trailers as part of a team while taking directions from supervisors to achieve a final product. Duties include making quality welds, reading blueprints, assembling parts, independent and/ or team work, operate GMAW with both hardwire and metal core wire.

3.Infinity Metalworks in Weyburn, SK. Aug/18-Jan/19 WELDER

A small repair shop where I was responsible for handling various jobs that included custom orders. Duties included welding various projects, operating forklift, operating various metal forming machines, band-saw, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, GMAW, SMAW, shears and hand tools.

4.Behlen Industries in Brandon, MB. Oct/11-June/18 WELDER

Production welder to produce high quality welds within deadlines using my technical skills and safety first. Duties included the deliverance of professional welds, team approach using time management, cane operation, forklift, GMAW/ SAW with metal core, plasma cutting, oxy-fuel cutting, direction from supervisors/ lead hands, provide feedback of machine performance to prevent delays, clean work environment, train/ mentor new employees, record production.

5.Archies Welding in New Minas, NS. Aug/10-Oct/11 WELDER

Contract welder for the Michelin tire factory to weld and maintain equipment in the shop. Duties included team work, preventative maintenance/ repairs of machinery, communication with all departments, operating crane/ forklift, hand tools/ power tools, cutting torches, etc.

Responsible to operate various laser and plasma machines in the shop.

Education: graduated from Crocus Plains Regional high school in 1998 and graduated from Assiniboine Community College as a JOURNEYMAN WELDER in 2016.
