PERSONAL STATEMENT:

Currently I am a driller in Jack up Rig, Ad-14, offshore with Adnoc Drilling Services, Abu Dhabi. I feel it is my responsibility to produce good results in my job and to be able to maintain the integrity of the work while being both creative in solving problems and maintaining the highest work ethics as Driller. I feel that with my hard working attitude, my desire to learn and my existing knowledge and skills that I would prove to be an asset to any Employer. Also to develop my skills and knowledge that are required to work safely and efficiently in our ever changing offshore industry. To refine the skills and techniques I have learned to date to pass on to those around myself with the aim of getting the job done safe and right first time.

Sufficient language skills, literacy and numeracy skills to perform all job-related tasks.

Prior offshore experience as driller in jack-up rig and onshore experience as an Assistant driller and good working knowledge with top drive.

Able to operate both top-drive and Kelly rigs and experience in conventional and disc brakes.

Demonstrate ability to operate all drilling equipment.

Perform pre-task planning prior to executing work, complete a job safety analysis (JSA) and report any safety issues of concerns to management

Maintain safety standards and procedures and keep work area in safe working conditions

Directs, assists and perform technical calculations to carry out drilling operations

Plans work for the drill crew and provides leadership and motivation

Provide encouragement, assistance and guidance to crew members with their training

Inspects and maintain all travelling and rotating equipment’s (Draw works, Top drive, handling tools, etc.)

Operates drilling equipment and ensures safe and efficient procedures are followed during rig up/down operations

Inspects rig up/down of derrick and associated equipment’s, check mud properties and flow.
