SUBSTATION OPERATOR -110Kv, 66Kv substation(20MvA,10MvA)(AT PRESENT)

• Controls equipment’s, such as current transformer, voltage transformer, and circuit breakers and record the readings over distribution lines

• Calculates the average and Peak load demand and compile periodic report of load variations system planning purposes.

• Switches and maintains substation equipment’s for proper operations

• Maintains daily operating log on all operations both routine and emergency, and reports on line outages and weather conditions and recording the hourly consumptions. • Detail the engineering provision of Cables (XPLE), Panels, Earth pits, Transformers, Motor

(A.C&D.C), VSD, Fire alarms and other electrical equipment’s.

• To co-ordinate with Electrical Contractor for Electrification, Execution, Erection& Commissioning.

• Manages directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the electrical works onsite (SLD, P&ID).

• Review Inspection and Test plans in order to perform all required inspections and witnessing all required tests and hold points for Client’s Inspection

• Review inspection reports and records of Quality Control carried out on project activities

• Plans the execution of all electrical related works and coordinates the works to mechanical and civil groups

• Preparing Monthly work Progress Report for timely work progress of project

• Coordinates with Client\Consultant’s representatives for site inspec2tions

• Detail Engineering with a safety factor in the design.

• Supports the Project Manager in accomplishing all the goals and targets for the electrical works at site.

• Submits Site daily reports, inspection requests, estimates and all applicable monitoring reports on regular basis as required.

• Ensuring that all site works are done according to all applicable quality standards

• Maintaining inspection test result documents.

• Coordinating and assigning daily work to testing technicians. OBJECTIVE
