My Job Responsibility includes:-

Handling HSE Culture for the Project.

Bringing Positive Safety Culture to the Organization through Safety Programs & Proactive Health Safety & Environmental Management Strategies.

Handling Safety Team & give Proper Leadership, Motivation &Direction in bringing a positive Safety Culture in the Organization.

Support and advise Management on Safety & Environmental matters.

Assist the Management in HSE Risk management for the project & Participate in Risk Assessment.

Report directly to Project Manager & Corporate HSE Manager.

Ensure all hazards involved in the project were identified and all preventive as well as mitigation measures were taken to reduce the HSE risks to an acceptable level.

Ensure all work activities comply with PTW System and Task risk assessments.

Conduct Internal HSE meetings for employees to express commitment, to enhance relationship and to encourage improved two-way communication.

Attend all HSE Meetings, scheduled meetings, i.e. coordination meeting, bi- weekly safety committee meeting, project safety officers meeting, prepare minutes and organizes internal safety committee meeting.

Carrying out Internal HSE Audit as per Project Requirement.

Keeping a well Oriented HSE filing system as per ISO Standards. Update records of safety reports / inspections, competent & certified personnel, TPI certificates of heavy equipments & rigging gears, safety statistics and other required pertinent project documents.

Keep a permanent record of all injuries, fires, accidents/incidents & near-misses which have occurred at site as per contractual requirements by Company & as per Legal Requirements.

Ensure employees are adapting the safe work practices/techniques and encourage them to do the assigned responsibilities in the safest way & also ensuring they receives adequate training to enable them to understand & perform their role to achieve superior HSE performance.

Ensure no activity will damage the environment quality. Promote Pollution prevention, environmental preparedness & waste minimization.

Conduct timely HSE inspection tours & HSE audits to ensure the HSE system is keeping the required standard. Inspect worksite periodically & report/correct unsafe acts & conditions and maintain records of these events. Check provision and use of protective clothing & equipment.

Ensure that all levels of Supervision are qualified and received adequate & appropriate training.

Conduct regularly scheduled meetings at least once a month for all Supervisors on the Project to review the past activities, to plan for new or changed operations

& to establish safe working procedures for preventing hazards.

Responsible for the inspection & implementation of Project HSE related activities.

Suspend any activity If there is an imminent risk to health and safety

Consult & Coordinate with Sub-Contractors & ensure HSE Requirements met by them.

Ensure the Use of proper Personnel Protective Equipments by all employees at required areas and situations.

Prepare Accident/Incident Report, Monthly Safety Statistics for company Management & Client.

Analyze all Accident/Incident, Near misses to find the root causes & design proper preventive measures.

Ensuring the proper Implementing HSE Plan & Procedures.

Assist in Design/modify the facility in a manner to reduce HSE risks to an acceptable level. Ensure the proper Inspection of Equipments, Machineries & Tools to ensure its safest operations.

Develop Awareness among Employees about Fire Extinguishers and their right use, Use of right personnel Protective Equipments, Precautions to Avoid Exposure to Toxic/Hazardous substances.

Precautions while working with Compressed Air, Operated Tools, Various Safety Aspects to be considered while Material Handling, Stacking and Storage, use of Lifting Appliances etc.

Implement a Proper Waste Management system & develop Awareness among employees in the importance of Housekeeping in work places, Accommodations,

& the importance of Social Hygiene.
