Prepare and review Weldbook as per the Client guidelines.

Scrutinize the existing qualifications (WPS/PQR) to suit for the current project requirement.

Coordinating welder, NDT personnel and Metal Lab for the smooth execution of new PQR qualifications.

Training, qualification and allocation of welder for various projects.

Effective monitoring of Welder performance and maintaining their continuity record.

Read and review the drawings and do consumable calculations.

Inspection of Heat Exchanger fabrication at each stage as per Quality Assurance Plan and offering the same to Third party Inspector.

Checking of Tube to tube sheet joint expansions accordance with the approved mock up procedure.

Reviewing of Heat treatment charts with respect to job requirement and code.

Weld visual inspection of welded joints for visual defects like spatters, porosity, arc strike etc.

Preparing documents for every inspection stage as per approved ITP.

Witnessing of Hydro and pneumatic testing.

Metallurgy and Specification Knowledge

Customary with Carbon Steel, Alloy Steel (Gr.5, Gr.11), Stainless steel (304, 304L, 316, 316L, 904), Duplex, Super Duplex, CuNi, Inconel 625, Inconel 825.

Proficient with ASME SEC VIII Div.1, SEC.V, SEC.IX, TEMA, API 660, API SP582, API 934A, 934B, 934C, API 510, NACE MR0175, NACE MR0103.

Proficient with Heat exchanger Lincensor spec AXENS, Honeywell UOP.

Customary with Linde, Exxonmobil, KNPC, Shell, Foster wheeler, Thyssenkrupp specifications. Welding process knowledge

Customary with GTAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW, FCAW, ESW(Electro slag welding).

Proficient with Weldoverlay techniques & Strip cladding techniques.

Customary with Tube to Tubesheet welding (Heat exchanger). Other Activities/Achievements
