Evaluation of Plastic deformation through Couple-Temperature displacement analysis:

• The cabinet of sheet metal component on the Oven has been investigated.

• Under thermo couple displacement domain the analysis was carried out to calculate stress distribution and the Plastic Deformation.

Working Pressure Investigation of dynamic O-ring seal:

• O Ring on the water pump assembly has been investigated and the hyper-elastic behavior is captured.

• Validation of an O-ring in a pressure valve under extreme thermal conditions. Seal compression and contact pressure between the sealing components also studied. Validation of Lifting hooks assembly under fatigue conditions:

Lifting hook assembly has been validated under nonlinear static loading and the life cycles have been estimated for Fatigue conditions.

Modal Analysis also carried out for checking Resonance conditions of the structure. Validation of connecting rod under Nonlinear Buckling load condition:

• Nonlinear buckling analysis is carried out for a connecting rod used in suspension structure and post buckling behavior has been captured.

• The buckling load from FE investigation has been correlated with the test and analytical results. Validation of Air-suspension system component under static loading:

• Air suspension components such as Parallel link bracket, compound link bracket, Link channel and sub-frame structure are validated under various static load conditions (cornering load, braking and driving load).

• The bolt and weld joints in critical areas also been validated and correlated with manual calculations. Optimization and New product Development of Air-suspension system component:

• Existing design is investigated under operating condition. Based on conditions, the new concept model has been developed by considering manufacturing process arrived from sheet metal process to casting, Strength, stiffness, Assembly feasibility, Cost reduction, Weight reduction, to increase fatigue life & Ease of manufacturing. Validation of plastic pallet under impact and normal loading conditions:

• Initially the failure analysis has been carried out to identify the problems in existing plastic pallet.

• Developing new concepts for Plastic Pallet design striving to achieve increased life and reducing weight. The following approaches were carried for optimization as Material wise (different composition of material), Shape optimization.

Validation of Heat Exchanger and its life cycle estimation:

• The extracted shell model has been investigated under maximum operating condition (max pressure and temperature)

• From a linear elastic stress analysis, effective total equivalent stress amplitude has been obtained which is used to evaluate the fatigue damage of heat exchanger.

• ASME_BPVC.section.VIII.2-2015 is followed to estimate the life cycle and fatigue damage of the heat exchanger. Educational Qualification
