M-Tech Project Study on the Tensile Strength Behavior Of Rice Husk Sandwiched Glass Fiber Composite Plates May 2015-July 2015

• Fabricating a new class of epoxy based low cost hybrid composites reinforced with glass fiber and filled with rice husk in different weight proportions

• This can be useful in erosive situations like engineering structures in dusty environment and low-cost building materials in deserts as well as a good thermal insulating material

• Studied the feasibility of GFRP reinforcement with Concrete deep beams to resist shear forces under two-point loading

• Simulated the failure pattern of these beams with the help of RESPONSE-2000 and a comparative study was carried out
