• Interested in open and laparoscopic colorectal surgery, complex perianal fistula, pelvic floor disorders and complex abdominal wall hernia and reconstruction.
• Interested in trauma surgery with broad experience in ATLS teaching.
• I am a member of a general/trauma team comprising of 5 Consultants, 5 senior registrar, 4 registrars, 4 resident and 2 interns. I participate in a 1:5 general surgical rota.
• Over the years I have accumulated a good experience in general and laparoscopic surgery and can tackle different operations at emergency and elective levels in colorectal, trauma and general surgery e.g. open and laparoscopic hemicolectomy, Anterior Resection, Abdomenoperineal resection, Hartmans operation, open and laparoscopic stoma formation, complex perianal fistula management, haemorrhoidectomy, treatment of fissure in ano, open and laparoscopic cholecystectomy + on table cholangiogram, exploration of the common bile duct, open and laparoscopic appendicectomy, open and laparoscopic complex hernia repair, mastectomy and axilla surgery and thyroidectomy .
