As part of the Centre of Excellence (CoE) team, I practice as a geologist and project manager. One of my major achievements as a member of the CoE was that of being the project manager for the first implementation of the Dassault Systemes 3DEXPERIENCE platform at a major diamond mining house in Africa encompassing over 120 geologists, mining engineers, surveyors and management. This implementation was a first for the organization within the mining industry worldwide. This project spanned over two years which kicked off: 1) A detailed scoping study; 2) Planning of the implementation of the platform; 3) Building the on premise 3DEXPERIENCE platform environment; 4) Training users; 5) Supporting the client with change management activities and 6) Overall holistic approach to the management of the project.

At Sasol Mining Middelbult Mine, I was part of the management team. One of my achievements was being the mine geology manager in the successful construction of a R5 billion mine shaft complex (Shondoni Shaft).
