Synthesis of Graphene based aerogel for wastewater treatment Team Size: 4 Duration: 2 months

• Developed an adsorbent for efficient and effective removal of methylene blue dye from its aqueous solution.The synthesized glucose/ starch cross linked graphene aerogel which shows a great potential and promise for practical application in the field of wastewater treatment.

• Company: FACT Kochi Post: Intern Duration: 2 weeks o The in-plant training helped to get familiarized with equipment, administration, functioning and management of the fertilizer plant.

• Company: BWSSB Bangalore Post:intern Duration:2 weeks o The training helped to get familiarized with the latest technologies and equipment used for water treatment.

• Won best paper award for the project synthesis of graphene based aerogel for wastewater treatment at national conference on biotechnology research and innovation and oppurtunities-BRIO 2020.

• Project of synthesis of aerogel for waste water treatment was approved for sponsorship by Karnataka state council for science and technology(KSCST).

• Poster presentation on non dripping nozzle at national conference RACE 2018.

• Poster presentation on green chemistry & green synthesis in environment sustainability at national conference RACE 2019.
