WORKING PROFILE -MAINTENANCE

Centrifugal pumps: -

Overhauling centrifugal single/multi stage pumps. Doing regular servicing overhauling and troubleshooting, Replacement of bearings (friction and non-friction) wear rings mechanical seal and impeller. Hand in taking measurements and checking radial clearance run out axial float. Knowledge in preparing check list and reports.

Mechanical Seal:

Refurbishing Mechanical seal. Changing primary and mating Rings (carbon seals) retainer, springs, thrust plate, O rings. Knowledge in seal testing in test bench. Lapping seal and checking flatness with optical flat passing monochromatic light and checking band width.

Reciprocating pump:

Hand in overhauling. Changing of plunger, gland packing, connecting rod, crank shaft bearings, suction and discharge valves .taking clearances and axial play

Diaphragm pump

Overhauling and troubleshooting of dia .pump .Overhauling check valve, diaphragms, piston, cross head connecting rod and gear box and stroke mechanism.

Centrifugal Compressors: -

Worked in Major overhaul. Activity in Removing and placing of compressor bundle, Diaphragms, Hub (hydraulic method).Involved in dismantling and installing of Mechanical seal (dry gas and Oil seal type) and Labyrinths. Hands in checking radial and float clearance of Journal and Thrust bearings .Handling of Lube Oil, Seal Oil System inters, after gas cooler and cooler fan with gear box, Routine check the Lube Oil, Seal Oil and overhead tank Oil Level. Experience in using hydraulic torque system to loosen and tightens the casing bolts.

Reciprocating Compressor:

Having experience in various manufactures of Mitsubishi, Mitsui Thomason, Ingersoll- Rand Reciprocating Compressor of ‘V’ type with instrument air Service with various Capacities. Involved in major and minor overhauling changing of valves, Piston, piston rings, Labyrinth seal, stuffing box, big and small end bearings, crank shaft bearings. Cross head, Crank Shaft, pulley and its oil circuit equipment, and cooler maintenance.

Gas turbine

Involved in Start-up, shutdown and trouble shooting of gas turbines

Preventive maintenance of turbine and its auxiliary units

Experience in taking precision measurements of bearings clearances & installation

Rotor to stator clearance checking and rotor centering.

Hot gas path inspection, Combustion chamber inspection
