This PDF is created at https://www.pdfonline.com/convert-pdf/ SOME OF THE IDEOLOGY INTRIGUE ME:
RUBBER INCLUDED CONCRETE:
- From the analyses of the result obtained after the testes with the rubber included concrete.
- It is seen that there is a decrease in compressive strength.
- However there is a gradual increase in ductility and toughness associated with them.
- It can be evidenced that 6% rubber replacement proved to be an ideal percentage for re-Placement.
Many advantageous results were found from the testes conducted on rubber included concrete:
- The workability of the concrete mix was increased by 22% for 2% replacement and as high as 33 % for 8%.
- When there is inclusion of rubber aggregates in the concrete, workability increases.
- Compressive strength the concrete decreased for both 7 days and 28 days. As the percentage of replacement of coarse aggregates by rubber aggregates increased, there was decrease in the compressive strength. Up to 4% replacement, the decrease in compressive strength was 15% and thereafter there was drastic reduction in compressive strength.
- The most important property concrete i.e. the ductility were increased to a large extent.
- Enormous increase in ductility up to 6%, and replacement (8%)
- However there was a loss of ductility at the end of 28 days, for replacement (8%), to increase the ductility its ideal up to 6% replacement. I HEREBY DECLARE THAT THE FURNISHED INFORMATION IS TRUE TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE AND BELIEF
