Project name : IMPLEMENTATION OF SOLAR BASED BIDIRECTIONAL DC-DC CONVERTER WITH ZVS USING MPPT IN ELECTRIC VEHICLE. Description and brief of the project:

• This project works a new non-convectional energy source based bidirectional dc/dc converter presented for transfer of power in both directions. So, to overcome the recharge problems in Electric Vehicles the non-convectional source of solar energy with MPPT is used.

• In the proposed system, it reduces the number of switches and use of ZVS are introduced, which may improve the efficiency in Electric vehicles. Conclusion:

• The power flow in both the directions is achieved from source side to load side of bidirectional dc-dc converter by using of ZVS and PMDC motor.

• Also, the regenerative braking of the PMDC motor has been successfully realized thus we achieved the design target.
