SUMMER INTERNSHIP AND WORK EXPERIENCE
IIT Mandi, Himachal Pradesh May 2018 – August 2018 IIT Mandi being in Earthquake zone V is regularly affected by small and medium magnitude earthquakes. So, we had designed an earthquake resistant overhead water tank considering the water forces acting on the walls of the structures during the earthquake using SAP 2000.
Different earthquake data such as El-Centro and Kobe earthquake were obtained which had occurred earlier and they were applied on the designed structure to check its Dynamic behavior.
Graphs were plotted i.e Acceleration, Velocity and Displacement w.r.t Time. M.I.T, MANIPAL SEPTEMBER 2018- JUNE 2019
A Research Project funded by MAHE, Manipal was undertaken by Dr Asha prabhu and myself on preparing a concrete which had a compressive strength of more than 120 MPa and environmentally friendly too.
To Prepare an ultra-high-performance concrete which is environmental friendly without compromising strength parameters.
Reaching compressive strength of as high as 150 MPa through variation in mix proportion and the type of curing regimes used.
Comparative study on the varied mixes subjecting it to SEM Analysis and inferences to be concluded for its failures.

Planning, modelling, Analyzing and Designing of the structures using ETABS and STAAD Pro software’s and comparing the results with manual designing of up to G+12 structures. Parametric Study and Code comparison of Seismic Soil Structure Interaction- Earthquake Engineering. Feb 2018-April 2018
Contrary to ASCE 7-2010 and ASCE7-2016, Indian Design standards does not take into effect of effective damping of foundation, Kinematic Interaction etc.
Therefore, this study highlighted potential factors that need to be adopted in future revision of the code. Analysis and Design of Braced Steel Framed Building with Composite Columns- Advance Steel Structures Feb 2018-April 2018
A 10 storey steel frame building with inverted V- Bracings and Composite columns was analyzed for lateral loads in ETABS to check for failure and interaction equation for optimum material utilization.
Results were verified through manual calculations following Eurocode 4 and IS 800-2007. Study on seismic Behavior of 15 storey building considering Tuned Liquid Dampers - Dynamics of Structures Aug 2017-Nov 2017
Analyzed a 15 storey RCC building subjected to lateral loading considering Tuned Liquid Dampers using SAP 2000.
