“IoT based power line communication (PLC) in underground mines”
Power line communication is a technology which enables the transmission of data over the existing power lines in the mines that carry and supply current.
Replacing the slow data transmission rate, the emerging PLC technology has growth wider bandwidth with two way communication.
In our project we sense the underground gases and the sensed data is sent to the surface via the existing power lines.

Participated in Workshop on “Recent Advances in Reliability Engineering and Maintenance Management (RAREMM-2018)”in National Institute of Technology (NITK) Surathkal, Karnataka.
