I have a Master’s Degree in Education from Chapman University in the City of Orange. I work in the hospitality and sales industry working at Fashion Island Hotel in Newport Beach. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, live music, and for over two decades now, I have volunteered as a camp director for a nonprofit foundation for pediatric oncology patients and their families. For the past five years, I have been employed as an Audio/Visual Manager for Five-Star A/V at the prestigious Fashion Island Hotel, which is part of the Irvine Company Incorporated. I have built strong relationships with clients, and have had the pleasure to work with people from all walks of life. In my efforts to become more involved with the ins and outs of the hotel, three years ago, I took over management of the Business Center, which includes involvement in event sales, and shipping and receiving packages for guests of the hotel. Being a former teacher, I have excellent verbal and communication skills along with strong public speaking expertise. I possess an acute attention to detail, a passion for organization, and take pride in my impeccable customer service. It is with all these different skills and experiences that I know I can make a positive impact on the Full Steam family. Being a leader, itself is an artform and requires patience, grace and curiosity. I believe my experience in education and hospitality makes me an excellent candidate for this position.
