To date, William’s professional experience comprises of extensive operational periods, with 37 years’ experience in the security industry, obtained through a combination of Military and Industry exposure with more than 30 years’ experience in the Industry.

• For 7 years, William was involved in operations within the South African Defence Force.

• In 1989 after obtaining an honorable discharge with the rank of Petty Officer, William relocated to Italy where after being approached by an Oligarch as a Security Specialist, he served in this position for a period of 3 years, key job responsibilities included advising on Personal Security Management.

• In 1993, took up a Consultancy role with Italian and British PI Agencies.

• Freelance Security and Investigative Operative from August 1998 to June 2004.

• Joined Telecom Italia/Pirelli as a Close Protection Officer.

• From March 2010 to August 2016 he relocated back to the African continent, more precisely Nigeria as Senior Operations Manager with Pilgrims Africa Ltd.

• Freelancing on Security related Assignments in Europe from October 2016 to May 2017.

• Most recently in 2017, William was contracted to the European Union Delegation Mission in Pakistan as the International Security Manager and previously as the International Close Protection Supervisor, with responsibility for the overall Security of the EU Ambassador to Pakistan, EU International Staff and day to day security protocols of the EUDEL including all Missions, most of which in challenging environments.
