PROFILE
I am a HR professional with more than 15 years’ experience in various specialist fields within HR professional services. I have completed my Masters Degree in Industrial Psychology in 2016, and have subsequently registered as an Industrial Psychologist in South Africa in May 2017 after successfully completing the national board examination of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA).
During my professional career within the financial services industry, I have gained valuable experience and expertise in talent acquisition for a full spectrum of roles across all organizational levels and divisions. My key expertise also include talent acquisition and development assessment methodology, talent management and development practices, individual and team development initiatives, and organisational design and change management.
Due to my involvement in various organizational projects, I am well-versed in formal project management methodologies, including working with and leading cross-functional teams. I have a sound ability in building collaborative relationships and maintaining a strong client service orientation with internal and external stakeholders. CAREER ACHIEVEMENTS
Currently the HR and People Lead responsible for the design, coordination of task execution and tracking of the change management plan to integrate Mercantile Bank into Capitec Bank.
Nominated by the IT Executive to act as the HR Representative during the Agile business transformation process, responsible for the organisational re-design and change management process within the IT division.
Designed and implemented the first ever Employee Engagement Survey in the organisation, with an initial pilot within the IT division (98% response rate). The Employee Engagement Survey is now a critical part of the people measures within the Bank, providing valuable input to the Leadership Programmes and People Strategy development of the organisation and divisions.

The role reports into the Executive: Human Resources and is responsible for the HRBP strategy development and implementation for the newly established HRBP Group Function.
Key performance objectives include:
Responsible for the HRBP strategy development and implementation for the newly established HRBP Group Function, including all processes, practices and capability development related to the HRBP strategic and tactical operations within the 3 business units (Retail Banking, Business Banking, and Shared Services).
Accountable for driving the Capitec and Mercantile HRBP function integration process during the current Capitec and Mercantile organisational integration process.

The role reported to the Head: Recruitment and Selection and was responsible for the full end-to-end talent acquisition process for various business units. The role was initially based at the Centurion Regional Offices (Gauteng, South Africa) and focused on providing a dedicated recruitment & selection service to the line managers within the operations/branch environment by addressing their regional staffing needs with a specific focus on the Northern Cape, North West, Mpumalanga Lowveld and Gauteng provinces in South Africa.
After being offered an opportunity to relocate back to Stellenbosch (Western Cape, South Africa), the role’s portfolio changed to a more specialist recruitment focus including a full spectrum of positions within the various support functions (Risk Management, Credit Management, Finance Management, Human Resources, Marketing, Business Development and Card Services divisions) based nationally. In 2009, I was given to opportunity to take full resourcing responsibility for the highly specialised IT division.
