Electronic Meter Reading (EMR) application is an online meter reading application for KAHRAMAA (KM) developed IT department. This mobile application works on CAT S41 Android device with 4G enabled SIM card.

It is having two major modules Reading and Disconnection

Reading:

Meter readers or reading contractors belongs to KM carries the device with EMR application and collect the meter reading and disconnect the meter at the customer place. EMR application will communicate with the backend database and transferring the transactions site.

Disconnection:

Disconnection module allows the users to disconnect the meter service in case of outstanding balance. EMR will bring all the list of meters to be disconnected to the device.
