I have been a paralegal for over 32 years. For the past 19 years of my career my focus was as a Case Managing Senior Paralegal. I was appointed to our “in-house” training teams to train new attorneys, paralegals and project assistants. My responsibilities have included, but have not been limited to managing complex, high profile litigation cases, supervising lower tier paralegals, project assistants and secretarial staff. I have been responsible for supervising up to 35 paralegals, case assistants, project assistants and secretarial staff, which supervision included, but was not limited to, hiring, firing, performance reviews, work assignments and distribution of work loads.

STATE AND LOCAL RULES:

I have been responsible for cases in the following states and I am, therefore, familiar with the local State and Federal rules for: New York, Washington, Oregon, California, Alaska, Montana, Tennessee, Florida, Idaho, Arizona and Nevada. I am also familiar with insurance guidelines and billing. I have been a CASA representative in New York and volunteered as a member of the Middle Tennessee Paralegal Association with legal aid providing legal services in family law, bankruptcy, expungement and other matters.
