Even as Uzbeks emerged as a nation on the stage of history by uniting many Turkic tribes into their ranks, they are open-minded and unfamiliar with nationalist ideas. That is why in today's modern Uzbekistan, representatives of more than 130 nations and peoples live in peace and tranquility. However, foreign forces, which are the enemy of such national harmony and peace, and some of their supporters in Uzbekistan, do not recognize the history of the Uzbek nation and Uzbek states, but also try to falsify it. Such attempts include the suspicion of Alisher Navoi and other great historical figures that they belong to the Uzbek nation, to confuse the Uzbek youth, to stifle their pride in the great past of their nation and ancestors, and to poison their minds with the idea of "Turkestan regionalism." So how should such actions be treated and do they have a specific historical basis? It is impossible not to give them answers with historical evidence.
