SPORTSWEAR

o Knowledge in Cut&Sew Knit / Woven fabrication and construction for Tops, Bottoms, Jackets and Dresses. o Knowledge of garment construction, silhouettes, fabrication construction techniques and trim. o Sourcing fabrics and trims under a price point.

SWEATERS

o Sole Sweater Designer for BCBGeneration.

o Knowledge in knitwear machines, stitch techniques and yarn. o Sourcing yarn and stitch techniques under a target price point. o Responsible for approving bulk hand and color standards for production.

• Create trend, mood, color stories and silhouettes per month.

• Partner with Sourcing, PD Team, oversea vendors and Technical Team on raw material & trim sourcing and fit.

• Create designs for specific categories that support brands vision, lineplan, and price point that are consistent with current trends.

• Responsible for all technical packages and BOMs for local vendors in Los Angeles and overseas vendors in Italy.

• Communicating on site in Los Angeles and via email for oversea vendors directly.

• Communicates with Design and Production teams to ensure quality fit and desired appearance.

• Reviews all fit samples against design packages to ensure all specifications are adhered to.

• Work closely with Creative Dr. to design complete sweater and lifestyle collection for Banjo & Matilda label.

• Primary contact for Technical, Production, E-commerce sales teams for any design related issues/inquiries.

• Focus creatively to develop unique and innovative products within concept guidelines.

• Work within SKU plan according to analysis by sales team and merchandising to deliver product that fit within these categories.

• Work with set margin formula to deliver product within correct price point.

• Produce and maintain design techpacks to send to overseas factories.

• Manage prototypes and sample process including fit sessions and corrections of techpacks to successfully deliver SMS samples. ASSOCIATE DESIGNER - SWEATERS - OCT 2012 - AUG 2015 BCBGMAXAZRIA

• Works closely with Sr. Designer, Design Dr. and CCO to design complete sweater line for BCBG Max Azria label, and Runway.

• Primary Design Contact for Technical, Production, Planning and Merchandising Departments.

• Attend design fittings, follow up on revisions and fit corrections for technical packages.

• Follow up and coordinate all ongoing developments in order to meet the Deliverable Calendar with vendors.

• Responsible for Design Cards including BOM's, Construction Details, and Measurement specs utilizing WebPDM.

• Collaborate with Design Director in development of line.

• Provide designs that reflect the trends, but also reflect the integrity and aesthetic of the BCBGeneration.

• Design according to SKU plans, sales needs and emerging trends.

• Responsible for creating, initiating and filling out all Techpack requirements for sample creation at proto stage to SRS stage, while maintaining both style detail and target FOB’s.

• Manage internal design team and overseas vendors to ensure timely execution of calendar.

• Attend and participate in all fittings, Merchandising edits, Sales meetings, and Costing meetings.
