Managed baseball-related content on the team’s blog site and Twitter handle, as well as lead planning and production responsibilities for all Communications publication projects including but not limited to:

o Media guide

o Game-day programs

o Team yearbook

Coordinated content-gathering efforts with multiple departments within the organization

(Corporate Partnerships, Marketing, Sales, Youth Baseball, Miami Marlins Foundation) for team publications, and worked with external printers to secure bids and set production timelines

Created press releases and blog posts announcing baseball-related team news

Worked with the Communications team to brainstorm and develop story ideas and media events to garner positive and unique coverage for the organization in a trying media market

Served as main point of contact for the media on team news, interview and credential requests, and provided assistance on game days or at team events

Liaise with FOX Sports Florida programming to develop, plan, and execute shoots for broadcast enhancements, 12 regular-season magazine shows, and offseason programs

Assisted Major League Baseball’s Public Relations staff with press conferences, interview scheduling, and content production at jewel events, including six National League Championship Series, two All-Star Games, and one NL Division Series

Planned and executed media training presentations to Major League and Minor League clubhouses during Spring Training and collaborated on media interaction throughout the year

Managed frequent travel, including six weeks on location at Spring Training complex, 5-6 road trips during the season, postseason work with MLB, and yearly industry conference

Arizona Fall League Organizational Leadership Award Led the planning and execution of a diverse publicity campaign for Miami Marlins’ players participating in the 2019 Arizona Fall League. Recruited FOX Sports Florida and Miami Marlins social media team to produce content that directly resulted in the organization being named the inaugural winner of the AFL Organizational Leadership Award.

Northeastern News Freshman Reporter of the Year
