I am a Health Information Professional, who enjoys document improvement, reviewing, processing, abstracting, analyzing, and interpreting medical data. I thoroughly understand medical, clinical, and surgical coding as well as the accompanied documentation. I use my diagnostic skills to understand cause and effect relationships between symptoms and underlying sources. These skills aid me in problem solving, which gives me a more in depth and intrinsic analytical skill set. Sub- skills such as medical, surgical, and clinical terminology as well as the ability to interpret documented findings. Finding such as, radiology reports, lab, and other test results are important tools. I utilize these tools and many more, to perceive the nuance within patient medical data within the EMR.
