I gained 9.1 years of experience in Software Industry working on Mainframe platform & QA with Atos Syntel Inc. for US insurance company HUMANA.

Have domain knowledge of US Health Insurance Industry.

Worked on applications interacting with CMS (Centre for Medicare and Medicaid services), State bodies handling insurance data, processes like transmission, Batch eligibility query (BEQ) and TRR.

Developed Humana System to introduce new Dual application (Member having Medicare and Medicaid coverage) since Year 2012 in which I gained knowledge in depth about Medicare and Medicaid memberships in US.

Also have experience on QA and testing activities and supporting the team.

Have completed DB2 certification level1 and level 2

Have completed TOSCA Automation Specialist level1 and Level 2 certification

As part of Quality assurance from Syntel I was actively involved into various Quality related Audits.

Accomplishments

Project Name : DESNP Membership Processing/LINET members from QSSI to EMDEON

Duration : 18 Months (June 2011 – December 2012)

Client : HUMANA

Description : This project is related to eligibility check of the DESNP membership and process the clocking for the member loosing eligibility and send Term, regain and warning letters. Worked with the EMDEON (External vendor to Humana) and different internal teams of Humana for testing.

Role :

Handled the project independently from offshore/Onsite as a senior developer from design phase till post production.

Was entirely involved in the reviews and coordination with junior team members.

Did critical analysis as the impact was high.

Worked on CICS screens Development.

Created Knowledge repository documents which are referred by as and when required for any queries related to the process.

Project Name : Individual LIS Rider Process/ Group LIS Riders

Description : This project was related to the processing of Low income subsidy members of the various states of the US.

Role :

Was involved in the Analysis, development, unit testing, SIT and UAT phases.

Worked as a senior developer for this project and later took the end to end responsibility and handled post-production activities.

Project Name : TRR / Transmission Projects for Membership Enrollment

Duration : 36 Months (July 2013 - June 2016)

Client : HUMANA

Description : This project is related to processing the Enrollment of the members and transmitting the medicare enrollments to CMS and sends the member welcome kit, EOC, ID Cards and other letter related communication to the members. Also Deals with different teams for sending the data to downstream teams for premium billing, Claim adjudication of the members.

Worked on Medicae member processing and also interacted with technical teams of the external vendors handling the Medicaid/Medicare memberships of the respective states in the US.

Role :

Handled the project independently from offshore/Onsite as a senior developer from design phase till post production with no SIT/UAT defects and none production issues.

Was entirely involved in the reviews and coordination with junior team members.

Developed the generic design to handle all the plans and states in the single process which saved a lot of time. This is a client well-recognized process improvement and innovation idea. Got lots of appreciation for the same.

Also offers the MAPD plan to the partial dual members and send the Welcome kit, ID cards per new MAPD plan to the members.
