Responsibilities:
HOUSEKEEPING (Housekeeper & Room Inspector) (January 2019 – February 2019)
Housekeeper; Responsible to clean restrooms, hallways, stairwells, foyers and elevators which includes vacuuming, dusting, polishing, straightening furniture and décor, cleaning/sanitizing surfaces and waste removal. Empty room attendant carts of soiled linen and trash from guest rooms. To clean and remove spots from corridor walls and doors. Polish and clean mirrors, room numbers on guest room doors and elevator doors.
Room Inspector; Check the worked of the housekeepers in every room that they cleaned, direct contact with the front desk if the rooms are ready. Responsible for the guest if they need something to their rooms, Receive calls from the guest needs and complains of guest, call the maintenance if something broke in the guest rooms. Respond to guest questions and provide guest assistance, directions, and information as requested.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE - MORNING AND EVENING RESTAURANT SERVER (February 2019-February 2020)
- Responsible to greet your guests once they enter the Restaurant. Sit them to their respective tables and offer them if they would like something to drink to start with, whether they like water, juices, coffee, tea, soda and for the night it is pretty much the same, but you ‘ll need to add offering different kinds of liquors this time. Show and explain to them the menu, so that they will have the options if they would like to do buffet or ala carte (that is what the restaurant offered where I worked) so you need to explain to them in a detailed ways. When they are done with their orders and you served their foods correctly let them enjoy their foods for like 10 minutes (that is the rules) and after that ask them how everything is or maybe how the food is. Alternatively, if they need anything else? So that you will know if the guests are, satisfy to your service that you provide to them. After you ask those guests and you already provided what she/he needs, they will ask for the check/bill or you will be the one who will give it to them. Once they are done with their check and ready to leave, do not forget to say thank you and hoping to see them again in the restaurant and to stay more in the hotel. In addition, I also worked as a server in different big banquets like weddings, holiday occasions, birthdays, meetings and seminars.
