Starting in the beginnings of 2016 I joined the La Parrilla Family and started as a host. In this role it was my responsibility to greet guests in a happily manner and ensure the restaurant was cycling in a steady manner. After four months of hosting, I then moved up to serving tables. As a server I ensured the guests had an enjoyable experience dining with us and ensured their experience happened at the pace of the guests’. After becoming a server in May 2016, I then became a bartender in November 2016. Since then, I have been a bartender to this present day. As a bartender I have learned a lot when it comes to multitasking and teamwork. It is my responsibility to create connections with guests and make drinks for the bar and restaurant floor. As a bartender it is also my responsibility to keep up and maintain the bar. As a server and bartender I have also handled money for four years now.

ACTIVITIES

I am Bloomberg certified and have started planning to obtain my Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certificate after graduation in May 2021. I have also had experience using financial software such as Tableu and R studio. During my years in college, I took three courses to expand my knowledge with this software and have also taken a fourth course on advancing my Excel skills. Along with these software skills I am also advanced in speaking, writing and reading Spanish.
