Responsible for coordinating the production of automotive and diesel catalysts, efficiency of plant equipment and reduction and prevention of quarantine material

Responsible for following, implementing and enforcing the guidelines and rules of the Bargaining Unit Contract

Directs and coordinates the activities of both salaried and union employees in the production of high-quality catalysts

Ensure safety of staff, plant personnel, visitors and contractors by ensuring compliance to safety guidelines and rules

Must work in accordance with accepted management practices to settle grievances and violations through Disciplinary Control Board Hearings as prescribed by the contract and ensure personal development of employees

Responsible for the daily supervision of the line shift operations for the coating of diesel catalysts and filters.

Supervise the activities of all hourly personnel as well as the Process Control Engineers on the line.

Help support an overall operating budget of approximately $10M and ensure the effective utilization of up to 250,000 troy ounces of precious metal/year.

Responsible for the PGM coating of diesel Catalysts and filters

Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the equipment associated with the manufacturing of products as well as controlling the production process

Lead efforts to optimize the process parameters to improve efficiency and minimize LTY

Coordinate with other departments to make sure production is on track and prevent downtime

Provide daily reports on specific operating results and find methods of process/procedure improvements
