Volvo Trucks – Greensboro North Carolina

Leading the team responsible for fit and finish of complete cabs, including all parts being assembled to them. The work has included project planning in MS Project, assuring that resources are available at the correct venue at the correct time and indicating the way to do the work to the rest of the team. A lot of time has been spent educating other parts of the organization about Geometry Assurance, why it is important and what special needs need to be fulfilled in order for the Geometry Assurance team to do their jobs. Part of the time has been spent doing actual Geometry Assurance as well. The work to assure fit and finish is based on the six sigma methods, it is a scientific way of making sure that every individual conforms to the agreed demands without adjustment. The Geometry Assurance work starts in the concept phase and goes on until the product has been successfully launched. 04/2014 to 05/2015 Project Manager
